Passive Solar Natural Build: Wimmer

We’d known David for some time and casually mentioned the need for more space in our house, with two fast-growing boys.

It wasn’t our intention to set the wheels in motion there and then, but David took the initiative and called us a couple weeks later to ‘run some ideas’ past us. His rough ideas were beautifully rendered 3D drawings that completely seduced us.

A month later the work started in earnest and true to his projected timeframe, David was done in 9 weeks. The result was an energy efficient house, slightly extended, but also intelligently reshaped to get the most use out of the existing space. We love it! It’s a huge improvement on the old space.

And having done that work, we got David back a year later to design and build an office, which again far exceeded our expectations.

He’s also got vast experience of dealing with Councils, and understands and negotiates all the tedious compliance requirements. David is a pleasure to work with! Kieran and Annie Barry
